The Christmas Story in Prophecy

.
.... Pulpit of the Last Days offers a systematic, open discipleship forum with a very intentional focus on Jesus. But between these basic sub- jects, or as occasion allows, we invite you to investigate our break-out modules, which can be accessed through links in the right-hand column.
.
.... The familiar Christmas Story is the second-most heavily prophesied event in history. Through the birth of Jesus, including the references to His genealogy, more than 80 prophecies were fulfilled.
.
.... In this special new Christmas module, the story is retold with reference to the Old Testament prophets, that we may view the same events through prophetic eyes.

  • Merry Christmas dear brother Loren(and other friends),

You indeed are beloved of God as you are so focused on Him and His glory; seeing always the importance that others come to a knowledge of the revelation of Jesus Christ through the signs given to the prophets that point to *Him* alone and not we ourselves. Yehsua is the Gospel.
I think of you and am often reminded of your ministry having discovered this quote from Oswald Chambers>If we preach the effects of Redemption in human life instead of the revelation regarding Jesus, the result in those who listen is not new birth, but refined spiritual culture, and the Spirit of God cannot witness to it because such preaching is in another domain.<
I am passing your link on to other friends who will be blessed by this. Thank you for breaking down the chronology of events and putting them on the shelf. Oh may we hear the prophets voice and look back to what they looked forward to. May we seek first with all of our hearts the Kingdom of God.
